I was invited to guest post at 40 Plus Woman this week. Normally I write for an audience of 50 plus women and men, I think some dating truths are universal. The basics of meeting a partner, sustaining a relationship and contemplating the first sexual encounter are fairly universal. But, I think there are unique and wonderful things we older women and men bring to the table. There are challenging issues for those of us getting on up there in age! Adult children, years of accumulated stuff, illnesses and age-related aches and pains, sexual changes–these are all a part of life we deal with now. Things we never even contemplated when dating in our teens and our 20s.
My post over at 40 Plus Woman explains a little about my history and how I came to call myself The Diva. My goal there, as it is here on my blog, is to offer encouragement to individuals who are looking for partners. I hope you’ll pop over and read…and comment here or there.
